Match Programme 2009

The details of the 2009 fixtures are shown below. Starting tee times for all events lie between 1 and 2pm. Costs indicated will cover green fee, post golf meals, gratuities, and prizes where relevant. Lady members are welcome on all days.

Please advise Richard Atherton by email by 30th March of the events you wish to enter. Note that teams will be selected for the matches. You will be advised at least 4 weeks before the event if you have got a game, and will be asked to pay the match fee without delay to secure your game. We cannot assess the support we shall receive for each event, especially for the team events, but will ensure that everyone wishing to play does get a game then, or on a future occasion.

How to book

Email Richard Atherton at by 30th March with your choice(s) and whether you would like to bring a guest to the Society Days. The Committee will select teams for the matches from members who have indicated their availability.

Friday July 3rd Match v BGCS at Cavendish Golf Club, Buxton

Teams of 12. Fourball Matchplay.
Cavendish was laid out by MacKenzie in 1925 for the 9th Duke of Devonshire. 18 holes. 5,833 yds.
SSS 68. An Ideal course on which to play with Hickories. BGCS members will bring spare sets for those wishing to try Hickories.
